New Projects

Ok People In the last few months I have been thinking about putting all my projects on hold and taking on a new one. I'm even thinking about selling all my toys to fund this new project. Now keep in mind this is only me thinking and nothing more. This is such a big project that it will take all my time. I have done some investigation on this and found that other then time it may not be a huge investment. So lets get down to it. The new project may be a WW1 biplane fighter. Something along the lines of a Sopwith Snipe or Camel

Fed 9/2007 Well I just did it and put my ATV and Bike up for sale if anything I'll use the money and pay some bills off. I'm really doing it to cut down on things that will consume my time. Plus it forces me to go buy a new bike and ATV at some point even if I don't do anything with this project

Down to it I'm going to start pricing some parts for this project more in the coming weeks. I'll start with a small light frame made of tube steel and wrap it in wood and canvas. The frame is simple really. Wings and the motor will be the hard parts.

For the motor I'll be using a rebuilt VW bug engine. It will be more then enough for my target weight and with the opposed pistons I'll have little to no gyroscopic effect.
