Small Projects

This is a simple list of some of my smaller projects. Each one of these projects only took a few hours to build.

Winter 2007 got a beer and wine making kit for Christmas. Beer is done no pictures of the wine yet.

Summer 2006 I installed a 4" inc lift kit on the truck. I need new tires and 410 rear ends now.

Small project that was done in summer 2006. I pickup a old lawn mower and repainted it and rebuilt it. Didn't turn out to bad. Polished the motor so it had a chrome look. I'm the only one on the block with a chrome looking lawn mower.

Fish tank Hydrogen. I had the funny idea to make hydrogen gas one night. I used an old fish tank and a few other house hold things. I made quite a large amount of the gas and had lots of fun burning it. Word to the wise if your going to do this project vent the area around the tank. I used simple salt water to increase the conductivity so I also made chlorine gas. WOOPSSS!!!!

Micro-Wave Beer Gun. Well its simple take the magnetron out of a microwave and mount it inside a BIG beer can and the plug it in. Effected range was around 4 feet no more. Had fun pointing it at the radio. BIZZZZZ LOL Music CD's are also good fun but less range to see the light show. DON'T POINT IT AT PEOPLE!!!

Blast Furnas was a fun toy. Simple furnace blower mounted to the side of a drum. load it full of wood and turn the blower on. In a few min you can melt all types of fun stuff. I used it to melt down aluminum to make RC tank tracks.

RC Tank Tracks. Never did build this project but I might get back to it some day. I use the blast furnace to melt aluminum and cast it into tracks. Each track was around 5inc long. As you can guess it was going to be a big tank. I used dry wall and wax to make the track molds.

Fiber Glass boats are easy to build and these 2 boats were built a long time ago. I use to sell these boats to an American company for some big cash. The sail boat is around 3 feet long.

Lawn Mower Generator. Take one lawn mower one alternator car battery and a DC-AC inverter and POOF instant power. Easy to build good fun in the winter when the power goes out. Well fun for me I bet the people next door didn't like the sound. I used it a few days back when the power went out. got to watch TV and have a few lights. Easy on gas I ran it outside for a good 6 hours on turtle.

Fish tank. This was one of my first big projects and was build a few years back with the help of my Gramp. It was a 120gl fish tank with 1inc glass window. It was a simple wood box with a grove in the front for the glass to slide into. One the box was build I fiber glassed the inside and outside witch was probably around $200 in mat and $50 in resin all obtained free from my Gramp. Was a fun project and worked very well never having a leak.

Potato Canon is another simple thing to build I didn't build this one myself my friend Trevor did. But the construction is simple. Great fun while drinking. Range when checked with the scope was a 182 yards.
