Total PC Care / One On One

Total PC Care was the company I owned for just over one year. It was a big part of my life and I worked very hard to do it right. We did computer sales and repairs full time from Mon to Sat 9am to 5pm. We also sold cell phones, satellite dishes, Cable TV & High speed internet, DSL connections, Web Design & customer network jobs. The company did rather well with sales but the big money maker was repairs. With one full time employ. With almost 50 business customers and lots of residential customers we did rather good. I rented a 2 story 1500sqf retail location in my home town and lived in the second story which made the walk easy. As any company I had my share of good and bad times and I never let anything stop me. I did a few things wrong and all you can do is hope for the best outcome. Due to personal problems and a messy breakup with my ex-girlfriend I was forced to close the shop. It took alot of time to get over the closing and I had a lot of hate for the ex for what happen but now I'm over it and I don't look back. I'll reopen the shop sometime in the future but right now I have a lot of other stuff.

One On One was the first computer shop I worked for. My boss Wayne was very cool. He was city engineer of Halifax for something like 30 years. He could play that mine sweeper game in windows like a crazy man. Wayne was probably the smartest person I have ever known. He was a little strange but very cool. The company did really good from the school board contracts we had and we traveled all over the province doing installs and setups. The main company we worked for Micro net was taken over by another company and ran into the ground. They stole something like 5 Million from the school board or something crazy so that contract dried up quick once the company's shit hit the fan. We lost around $25,000. At the end of all that we opened the shop and did very good till the time I took over the company and changed the name to Total PC Care.

I still do computer work on the side now but I really don't have the time anymore and have for the most part given it up. After a 12-8 shift at the mill the last thing I want to do is work on a computer.

Along with One On One Computers and Total PC Care I started a company with a former friend. As this friend was a tool I'm happy it never went any farther. After him backing out on a deal and trying to steal customers I separated myself from him and the company. I was able to sell my half of the company back to him and make some money. I have to say out of all the people I have ever met in my hole life that man was the biggest nipple head I ever met and I hope he has fun with his company. I'm just happy I don't have to look at him anymore.
